These terms apply to your use of this website and to every order you place with Beeswax Wraps Australia ([REGISTERED ENTITY NAME], ABN [ABN]) (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy, Shipping & Returns and Cookie Policy.

1. About us

Beeswax Wraps Australia makes reusable beeswax food wraps and related products, handmade in Oberon, NSW. You can reach us at admin@beeswaxwraps.com.au.

2. Orders

Everything on the site is an invitation to buy, not an offer. When you place an order you are offering to buy the products at the listed price. Your order is accepted when we send you an order confirmation or dispatch the goods, whichever happens first.

We may decline or cancel an order — and will refund you in full if we do — where:

• the item is out of stock or no longer available;
• there is an error in the price or product description;
• we cannot verify your payment or delivery details; or
• we reasonably suspect fraud or a breach of these terms.

Please check your order carefully before paying. If you need to change or cancel an order, email us straight away — we will do our best, but once an order has been packed or dispatched we may not be able to change it.

3. Pricing and payment

All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. Shipping is calculated at checkout and shown before you pay.

We accept payment by card through Stripe and by PayPal. Payment is taken at the time of order. Your payment details are handled by the payment provider — we never see or store your full card number. If your bank or card issuer charges a currency conversion or international fee, that is between you and them.

We may change prices at any time, but a change will not affect an order we have already accepted. Promotional codes and discounts cannot be used together unless we say so, have no cash value, and may be withdrawn at any time.

4. Products

Our wraps are handmade from natural materials — organic cotton, beeswax, pine resin, jojoba oil and colloidal silver. Because each piece is cut and waxed by hand from printed fabric, there will be small variations in colour, print placement and finish. Screen colours also vary between devices. These variations are part of a handmade product and are not defects.

Beeswax wraps are intended for wrapping and storing food. They are not suitable for raw meat or fish, and must not be used with hot food, in the microwave, oven or dishwasher, or washed in hot water — heat melts the wax. Follow the care instructions supplied with your wraps. Our products contain beeswax and are not vegan; if you have an allergy to any ingredient, please check with us before ordering.

We do not represent that the site is free of errors. We try to keep product descriptions, images and stock levels accurate and up to date, but we may correct errors at any time.

5. Your consumer rights

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded. How returns work in practice is set out in our Shipping & Returns policy.

6. Delivery and risk

Delivery times, costs and our returns process are set out in Shipping & Returns, which forms part of these terms. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. It is your responsibility to give us a correct and complete delivery address; we are not responsible for orders lost because of an incorrect address supplied at checkout.

7. Accounts

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity on your account. Tell us promptly if you think your account has been used without your permission. We may suspend or close an account that is being used in breach of these terms.

8. Subscriptions and repeat orders

Where we offer a subscription or repeat order, the ordering frequency, price and payment schedule will be shown before you sign up. Payments continue until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account or by emailing us — cancellation takes effect from the next scheduled order, and orders already processed will still be delivered and charged.

9. Wholesale and stockists

Wholesale orders are governed by the terms set out in your wholesale agreement or quote, which prevail over these terms to the extent of any inconsistency. Some consumer rights described here apply to consumer purchases only.

10. Intellectual property

All content on this site — including the Beeswax Wraps Australia name and logo, our fabric prints and artwork, photography, videos, text and page design — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trade mark law. Our prints include designs licensed from, or created in collaboration with, the artists credited on the site.

You may view the site and print or download content for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, resell, republish or adapt our prints, artwork, photography or other content — including for manufacturing your own wraps — without our written permission.

If you post a review, photo or comment on our site or tag us on social media, you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce and display that content in connection with promoting our products, with credit where practical. You confirm the content is yours to give and does not infringe anyone else’s rights.

11. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the site to break the law, infringe anyone’s rights, transmit malicious code, scrape or harvest data, interfere with the site’s operation or security, or post content that is unlawful, misleading, offensive or defamatory. We may remove content and restrict access where these terms are breached.

12. Availability of the site

We aim to keep the site available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend, withdraw or change all or part of the site for maintenance or business reasons without notice.

13. Liability

Subject to clause 5 and to the extent permitted by law:

• we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of your use of the site or our products;
• we are not liable for loss or damage caused by using our products contrary to the care instructions or for a purpose they are not intended for; and
• where our liability can be limited, it is limited at our option to replacing the goods, supplying equivalent goods, or refunding the price you paid.

14. Privacy

We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the version published on this page at the time you place it. Please check this page before ordering.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales and the courts that hear appeals from them.

17. General

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we do not give it up. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our consent.
